Multiple vehicles collide on Isparta-Antalya Highway, leaving 7 injured
An accident occurred on the Isparta-Antalya Highway in the Çobanpınar Village of the Bucak District of Burdur, involving multiple vehicles and resulting in injuries to several individuals.
The incident involved three vehicles – one driven by Mehmet B. (31) with the license plate 07 AUR 147, another driven by Mustafa Ü. K. (49) with the license plate 32 AE 618, and a Tofaş car driven by Serkan B. (38) with the license plate 32 ADL 513. These vehicles skidded and collided, causing significant damage and injuries.
Among those injured were the drivers Mehmet B. and Serkan B., as well as passengers Barış B., Mehmet A. Ü., Ceyda K., Egemen K., and Ahmet FK. The Tofaş car with the license plate 32 ADL 513 was split in half due to the impact.
Upon receiving notification from the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarmerie teams rushed to the scene. The injured individuals were provided with first aid on-site before being transferred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Fortunately, it has been reported that the conditions of the injured are stable.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident. In the meantime, authorities are urging all drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such incidents in the future.
