Nation Alliance Leaders Declare Readiness for Upcoming Turkish Elections
As the highly anticipated Turkish Presidential and Parliamentary elections draw closer, leaders of the Nation Alliance have declared their readiness for the polls. During a recent meeting hosted by the Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the chairpersons of the IYI Party, Democrat Party, DEVA Party, Felicity Party, and Future Party, Meral Akşener, Gültekin Uysal, Ali Babacan, Temel Karamollaoğlu, and Ahmet Davutoğlu, respectively, met to discuss their individual campaigns’ progress and preparations for the polls.
After the two-hour meeting, a joint statement was released, signaling the alliance’s faith and peace of mind and determination to participate in the elections fully. The statement also highlighted the measures taken to secure balloting safety, including the recruitment of over 561,977 officers and volunteers across the 192,229 ballot boxes, as well as volunteer lawyers deployed at every voting center to examine objections critically.
The new alliance pledged to carry out the upcoming democratic process with the utmost integrity, transparency, and fairness. The leaders passionately called on the Turkish population eligible to partake in the elections to exercise their voting rights and make their contribution to Turkey’s democracy.
This declaration by the nation alliance ahead of the upcoming elections is significant in rallying support for the democratic process in Turkey.
