
National Judo Team Wins 3 Medals in European Cup

A total of 805 athletes from 38 countries recently came together for a judo competition in the city of Teplice. The event, organized by the Turkish Judo Federation, took place on April 5-6 and showcased some impressive talent in the sport.
One standout performance came from Turkish athlete Yağmur Yilmazturk, who competed in the women’s 40-kilo category and emerged victorious by defeating Ukrainian judoka Sofiia Palamarenko to claim the gold medal. Another Turkish judoka, Büşra Ceylin Coşkun, also put on a strong showing in the same weight class, securing a bronze medal for her efforts.
In the women’s 44-kilo category, national athlete Livanur Kayır added to Turkey’s medal count by earning a bronze medal of her own. Overall, the Turkish judo team demonstrated skill and determination throughout the competition, showcasing their talent on the international stage.
