National Leader of Turkmen People Meets with Head of Çalyk Holding
The National Leader of Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, recently met with Ahmet Çalyk, Chairman of the Board of Managers of “Çalyk Holding” Group of Companies on September 2, 2024. During the meeting, Ahmet Çalyk expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet in person and conveyed warm greetings from the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to both Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Ahmet Çalyk highlighted the ongoing reforms in Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, mentioning the significance of the newly opened Ashgabat Hyakimlik complex, constructed by “Çalyk Holding.” The official opening of the building was attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the day before the meeting.
In the discussions held during the meeting, the parties talked about the current state of cooperation in various sectors, including energy, textile industry, and construction. Emphasizing the importance of mutual understanding and respect for common interests, they noted that Turkmenistan’s economic relations with partner states and foreign private sectors are based on equality.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in “Çalyk Holding” continuing its participation in national and regional projects in Turkmenistan by utilizing advanced technologies and highly productive equipment. In response, Ahmet Çalyk assured the National Leader of Turkmen People that the Turkish partners would fulfill their contractual obligations responsibly.
The meeting between the National Leader of Turkmen People and the Chairman of “Çalyk Holding” Group of Companies reaffirmed the strong partnership between the two entities and their commitment to further collaboration in various areas for the benefit of Turkmenistan.
