National Leader of Turkmenistan meets with UAE Vice President
High-level Meeting between Turkmenistan and United Arab Emirates Strengthens Relations
A recent meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Office of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan marked a significant moment in the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meeting, which took place on February 21, 2025, at the International Airport of the Turkmen capital, saw warm exchanges of greetings and gestures of goodwill between the two leaders. Hero-Arkadag warmly welcomed Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the hospitable Turkmen land, emphasizing the importance of the visit in furthering the already strong ties between the two nations.
The discussions between the leaders highlighted the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation that exists between Turkmenistan and the UAE. Both leaders acknowledged the importance of supporting initiatives for peace and stability, with Turkmenistan’s initiative to declare 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality receiving praise from the UAE.
