Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan Collects Solid Household Waste
The Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan is taking action to address solid waste management in Ashgabat. A new project has been launched to collect various types of solid household waste, including items such as batteries, electrical appliances, varnishes, paints, cosmetics, household chemicals, and medical waste.
Residents and businesses in Ashgabat can participate in this initiative by scheduling waste collection on Tuesdays and Fridays. The collected waste is then sent for recycling, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
As an incentive, individuals who contribute 9 kg of waste will receive a reward in the form of a seedling, encouraging more people to participate in the program.
