Navracsics: Close-Knit Hungarian Communities Keep Nation Strong
In a world torn apart by crises, only nations with strong communities can survive, stated the minister for public administration and regional development in Révfülöp on Sunday, ahead of Hungary’s upcoming national holiday on August 20. Tibor Navracsics emphasized the importance of close-knit communities in maintaining the strength of Hungary and providing support to those in need.
Speaking at Lake Balaton, Navracsics highlighted the legacy of St. Stephen, Hungary’s first king, who established a church, a state, and a community that provided security not only for Hungarians but for all who considered Hungary their homeland. He emphasized the importance of preserving traditions that have helped Hungary endure and thrive throughout history.
As Hungary prepares to celebrate its statehood on August 20, Navracsics urged the nation to remain united and focused on real issues, rather than getting distracted by debates that do not contribute to the country’s growth. By coming together as a community and supporting one another, Hungary can continue to preserve its heritage and strengthen its nation for the future.
