Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek Addresses Scandal at Emergency Hospital
In light of the recent scandal that led to the tragic death of a baby at the Emergency Hospital, Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek has spoken out about the situation of children in the hospital.
Dinçyürek revealed that all neonatal doctors in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) are stationed at the Emergency Hospital. He reassured the public that all necessary examinations have been conducted and stated, “Soon, we will take the families in one by one and explain the health conditions of the babies.”
The Minister also disclosed that there were a total of 6 babies who suddenly fell ill, but all of them received prompt treatment. He emphasized that immediate interventions were carried out as soon as the incident occurred to ensure the safety and well-being of the infants.
