Neuville Takes the Victory in Rally Italy

Belgium’s Thierry Neuville has won the 6th leg of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) in Sardinia, Italy. Competing on 19 stages, Neuville finished the match in 3 hours 40 minutes and 1.4 seconds, securing his first rally victory of the season and his 18th career victory. Esapekka Lappi followed in second place, 33 seconds behind teammate Neuville, while Kalle Rovanpera from Toyota Gazoo came in third, finishing 1 minute and 55.3 seconds behind the leader. Rovanpera continues to lead the drivers’ classification with 118 points, followed by Neuville with 93 points and Ott Tanak from M-Sport Ford with 85 points. The 7th leg of the WRC will take place in Kenya from 22-25 June.
