New Administrative and Tax Courts Established in Turkey by Justice Minister Tunç

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç recently made an important announcement on his social media regarding the establishment of new courts in certain provinces. He stated that the government is taking determined steps to ensure that trials are concluded within a reasonable time frame, justice is served without delay, and specialization is upheld in the courts.

Following careful studies of the geographical locations and business activities in provinces where administrative and tax courts were not previously established, the government has decided to set up the following courts: an administrative court in the provinces of Niğde, Şırnak, Tunceli, and Yalova, and a tax court in Ağrı and Şırnak.

This decision has now come into effect after being published in the Official Gazette. With the establishment of these new courts, the number of provinces with administrative courts has increased to 65, and the number of provinces with tax courts has risen to 38.

Minister Tunç expressed hope that these new courts will be beneficial to the country, its citizens, and the overall judicial system. The government remains committed to ensuring that justice is accessible to all and that legal proceedings are carried out efficiently.
