New Candidate Appointed for Parliamentary Presidential Election by BRTK
The National Unity Party (UBP) has made a significant decision regarding the election of the Chairman of the Assembly of the Republic. Chairman of the UBP and Prime Minister, Ünal Üstel, announced that the party assembly unanimously agreed to continue with a new candidate for the position.
During the first meeting of the UBP Party Assembly, concerns about the parliamentary election process were discussed. The UBP Party Assembly granted full authority to the Chairman to make decisions aimed at resolving the blockage in the election process and allowing the Assembly to begin its legislative and auditing activities.
It has been reported that the new candidate for the Presidency of the Assembly of the Republic will be revealed at the UBP Group Meeting scheduled for Thursday.
The UBP Party Assembly meeting took place at the UBP’s building in Sarayönü and lasted for about one and a half hours. Following the meeting, UBP Chairman Ünal Üstel emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that it is crucial to elect the President of the Republic Assembly promptly in order to commence work efficiently.
The decision to move forward with a new candidate was made unanimously by the Party Assembly, reflecting the party’s determination to overcome the current challenges and move forward with their legislative agenda.
