It was reported that while two attackers, one of whom was a woman, were neutralized in the incident, 6 people, including 3 police officers, were injured. Police officers and citizens injured during the attack were taken to surrounding hospitals by medical teams called to the scene. While it was learned that the general health condition of the injured police officers was good, Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Şaban Yılmaz came to the courthouse after the incident and made an investigation.

Following the interrogation of the members of the organization in question, the Anti-Terrorism teams carried out an operation on the house of 30-year-old Soner Yılmaztürk, who was allegedly hiding the materials used in making bombs, in Şakirpaşa District. During the search of the address revealed as the cell house and the minibus, it was determined that 11 kilos of explosive material ready to explode, 3 pipe type bomb devices, 500 grams of explosive material wrapped in 2 sheets of paper, and many materials used in bomb making were found.
