Kazakh Government Allocates Funds for New Medical Facilities in Pavlodar Region Villages
The Kazakh government has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare infrastructure in rural areas by allocating 228 million tenge (US$452,761) from recovered illegally withdrawn assets. These funds will be used to build new medical facilities in villages of the Pavlodar Region.
According to a report from the Prime Minister’s press service on March 31, projects will be implemented in rural areas such as Ekibastuz and Aksu, as well as in the Irtysh, Zhelezinka, and Terenkol districts. The construction of new healthcare facilities aims to reduce the burden on existing facilities and enhance the quality of medical care for the population.
In the village of Bayet, located in the rural area of Ekibastuz, plans are underway to construct a new obstetric station to replace the outdated facility built in 1983. Similarly, a medical outpatient clinic will be established in the Irtysh district to serve over 1,000 residents in the area.
Additionally, villages like Ivanovka, Mynkul, and Kurkol have been identified as priority settlements in need of new healthcare facilities due to their distance from existing ones. The government aims to build medical centers in these remote areas to provide essential healthcare services directly to residents.
With over 168,000 people living in the settlements of the Pavlodar Region, the construction of new healthcare facilities is crucial for improving access to medical services and enhancing overall healthcare quality.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to utilize funds from the Special State Fund for constructing socially significant facilities throughout the country. In addition to healthcare facilities, funds have also been allocated for schools, sports complexes, water supply systems, and other essential infrastructure projects in various regions of Kazakhstan.
