New Police Station Opens in Budapest’s Party District
A new police station has been opened in Budapest’s party district with the aim of improving safety for both tourists and local residents. The 7th district police office was officially opened on Friday, with a focus on serving the vibrant area known for its numerous catering units and party venues.
State secretary Bence Rétvári highlighted that the party district covers approximately one square kilometer and boasts 845 catering units, with 200 staying open between midnight and 6am. He emphasized the international reputation of this area, attracting visitors and party-goers from around the world. Rétvári expressed joy in welcoming young people from across Europe to Hungary, but also highlighted the importance of ensuring safety for local residents.
