New Release: Disinformation Bulletin Issue 74
The Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, Center for Combating Disinformation, has released its 74th issue of the Disinformation Bulletin. In this bulletin, they have stated that a number of allegations made on media and social media regarding the second round of the Presidential Elections were not true.
It is becoming increasingly common for false information and misleading news to spread rapidly on social media platforms, and this has resulted in many instances of disinformation being spread. Therefore, the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications has taken the initiative to counteract this by releasing their Disinformation Bulletin.
The bulletin aims to provide accurate information to the public and to counteract disinformation campaigns in the media and social media. In the 74th issue, the center has debunked some of the false allegations about the Presidential Elections, which were spread through different channels.
It is vital to be aware that not all information that is shared on the internet is true. It is important to double-check the authenticity of the news before sharing it with others, to avoid misunderstandings, rumors and false beliefs. Social media platforms must hold greater responsibility to aid in the dispersal of factual information and stop the spread of false news.
Overall, this latest Disinformation Bulletin helps inform the public and checks misinformation that can be spread through media and social media. The directive by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications is important, as combating disinformation is necessary for the public to gain a better understanding of the truth.
