New Requirements for Public Tenders: Domestic Product Certificate and Capacity Report – Chamber of Industry Announcement
The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry has recently announced new requirements for its members participating in public tenders. In order to be eligible to bid on these tenders, members must submit a “Domestic Product Certificate” and an updated “Capacity Report” for their enterprises.
According to the chamber’s statement, the Local Product Certificate can be obtained from KTSO. This certificate serves as proof that the products being used in the tender are domestically produced.
Additionally, members will need to apply to the chamber for a Capacity Report. This report will be prepared after an examination and calculation is done at the workplace by the personnel on duty. This report will detail the capacity and capabilities of the member’s enterprise, ensuring that they are qualified to take on the project at hand.
These new requirements aim to promote the use of locally produced goods and services in public tenders, ultimately benefiting the Turkish Cypriot economy. Members are encouraged to comply with these guidelines in order to participate in upcoming tenders and secure valuable contracts for their businesses.
