New School Supply Market Opens in Famagusta

The Famagusta Municipality organized the “School Begins Market” for the second time this year, providing families with the opportunity to purchase all their children’s school needs at affordable prices. The event, held at the Thursday Market area, also featured an inflatable playground for children to enjoy, as well as free ice cream and nuts throughout the day.

Supported by the efforts of the Gazimağusa Municipality staff and various donors, the event was visited by Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu and families from the Champion Angels Survival Association. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the association, which focuses on education and sports activities.

Osman Akın, Secretary General of the Association for Keeping Champion Angels Alive, expressed gratitude to the Gazimağusa Municipality for their support of the association’s projects. He emphasized the importance of keeping the memory of the Champion Angels alive and continuing their legacy in sports.
