New Regulation for Heavy Vehicles in Kyrenia
Starting on Monday, heavy vehicles in Kyrenia will face new regulations on Semih Sancar Street. The regulation will close the East – West direction navigation lane to heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and work machines between 16:30 and 19:00.
The decision, announced by Kyrenia Municipality, will come into effect on December 4, prohibiting heavy vehicles during the specified hours. Drivers will be prohibited from using Semih Sancar Street in the East – West direction, and those who do not comply with the law will be fined 18,103 TL and receive 15 penalty points.
Authorities emphasize that strict enforcement will be in place to ensure compliance with the new regulation. Drivers are advised to take alternative routes during the specified hours to avoid penalties and disruptions.
