As the new week begins, the weather forecast predicts rain in the central and eastern parts of Turkey. Weather Forecast Expert Mehmet Özdemirci has provided detailed information about the regions expecting rainfall, stating that sleet and snow are expected in various areas across the country.

The General Directorate of Meteorology has also predicted heavy snowfall in Eastern Anatolia, specifically in places such as Ardahan, Kars, Tunceli, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Hakkari and Şırnak. Additionally, intermittent rainfall is expected in the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia and the Southeastern Anatolia Region on Tuesday.

A warning has been issued regarding the risk of icing in the central and eastern parts of the country, as temperatures are expected to drop below zero. The General Directorate of Meteorology has urged citizens to be cautious due to the potential for icing and freezing, as well as the appearance of fog in certain areas.

In contrast, the metropolitan cities of Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir are not expected to experience snowfall. However, temperatures are predicted to drop to minus 3 degrees in Ankara, 7 degrees in Istanbul, and 12 degrees in Izmir.
