Nicosia Land Registry Office to Hold Full-Day Strike Tomorrow
Full-Day Strike Planned at Nicosia District Land Registry Office Tomorrow
Employees at the Nicosia District Land Registry Office of the Undersecretariat of Housing of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are set to go on a full-day strike tomorrow. This decision was announced by the Turkish Cypriot Public Servants’ Union (KTAMS), the Turkish Cypriot Public Servants’ Union (KAMUSEN), and the Public Workers’ Union (KAMU-İŞ).
KTAMS President Güven Bengihan expressed disappointment that despite promises made in November, the ongoing issues have not been resolved even after a month. As a result, the decision to strike has been made to bring attention to the unresolved problems.
Bengihan emphasized the determination of the unions to continue fighting until a solution is reached. The strike will take place all day tomorrow at the Nicosia District Land Registry Office, with a press release scheduled to be held at 09:30 in front of the office.
