Nicosia to Host Children’s Festival this Saturday – BRTK
“The Children’s Festival” Brings Fun and Education to Nicosia
The Dr. Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) is hosting a special event called the “Children’s Festival” on Saturday in Nicosia. The festival will take place between 16.00 – 19.00 hours at Taşkınköy Fazıl Küçük Park in celebration of National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
According to a statement from LTB, the festival will feature various workshops including “Markutti and Kite” by Hasder, “Ebru Art” by Ulviye Karabaşak, “Bag Painting and Picture” by Ozan Özgenler, “Mandala” by Ferdiye Yurdakul, “Science” by Science for Kids, and “Crown” by Hand in Hand Nursery.
The program for the festival includes a mini concert by LBO Children’s Choir at 17.00, a magic show at 17.30, a puppet show (with Vantrologer Hanife Tayyerci) at 18.15, and a Hipop dance show at 18.45. Additionally, the Nicosia Gezi Train will be organizing special tours during the event.
