Noble Nadir’s Life Comes to an End
Turkish Cypriot Businessman Asil Nadir Passes Away After Battling Health Issues
Asil Nadir, a prominent Turkish Cypriot business person, has sadly passed away after a long battle in intensive care. The news was confirmed by Kolan British Hospital Chief Physician, Dr. Celal Bölükbaṣı, who announced that Mr. Nadir lost his life on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 21:45.
Mr. Nadir had been undergoing medical treatment at the hospital since January 25, 2025, due to a diagnosis of general condition disorder and multiple organ failure. Despite efforts to stabilize his condition, advanced life support treatments were initiated on February 4, 2025. Unfortunately, despite the intensive medical interventions, Mr. Nadir’s health continued to deteriorate, leading to his passing on February 9.
Dr. Bölükbaṣı expressed his condolences on behalf of the hospital staff to Mr. Nadir’s family, relatives, and friends. He also mentioned the efforts of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Refik Mas, Intensive Care Physicians Serdar Bulut and Dr. Bayram Çelebi Karataş, and all the hospital employees who worked tirelessly to care for Mr. Nadir.
The loss of Asil Nadir is a great loss to the Turkish Cypriot community, and his contributions to the business world will always be remembered. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
