Official Gazette Announces Amendments to Organizational Structures of Institutions and Organizations
A new Presidential Decree has been issued amending the organization of various institutions and organizations affiliated with ministries in Turkey. The decree, which was published in the Official Gazette, includes significant changes to the structure of the Statistical Council.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s decree reorganizes the member structure of the Statistical Council, requiring the inclusion of at least one member and representatives from various institutions representing different ministries. This change aims to enhance the effectiveness and representation of the Council in decision-making processes.
Furthermore, within the General Directorate of Foundations, the name of the “Department of Investment and Real Estate” has been changed to the “Real Estate Department.” In addition, new departments such as the Project and Construction Department, Foundation Education Department, and three other departments have been established to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
A new “Writing Mushaflar Department” has also been established within the Presidency of the Turkish Manuscript Institution. The decree outlines the specific duties and responsibilities of these newly established departments and presidencies.
In response to these organizational changes, new cadres have been created according to the regulations set out in the decree. These changes are aimed at improving the functionality and effectiveness of the institutions and organizations under the ministries.
