Official Gazette Announces Minimum Wage Decision
The Minimum Wage Determination Commission has recently published the Recommendation Decision on Minimum Wage in the Official Gazette, following a meeting held on Wednesday, September 18. The decision, which sets the minimum wage for the third quarter of the year, stipulates a gross monthly wage of 40,436 TL and a net monthly wage of 35,180 TL.
This new minimum wage represents an increase from the previous rate of 29,516 TL net per month and 33,926 TL gross which has been in effect since May 1. The decision is currently subject to a 10-day objection period, after which it will come into effect on September 1, pending any discussions or changes resulting from objections.
