One Arrest Made in Connection to Ataşehir Tanker Explosion
Two people were killed in a tragic incident that occurred at a rest facility on Samandıra Street. Selçuk Boynukısa and Şemsettin Beken lost their lives in an explosion that took place during welding activities. Fortunately, the two individuals who were injured in the blast are reported to be in stable condition.
Following the explosion, three individuals were detained by authorities. After completing the necessary procedures at the police station, the suspects were transferred to the Anatolian courthouse for further legal proceedings.
During the court hearing, Mustafa Ö. and Gökhan Ö. were arrested, while suspect Aydın B. was released under judicial control. The investigation into the incident is ongoing to determine the cause of the explosion and hold those responsible accountable.
