One Fatality Reported in BRTK Incident
Tragic Accident Results in Fatality on Akdoğan-Vadili Main Road
A heartbreaking incident occurred this evening on the Akdoğan-Vadili main road, in front of Özugurlu Auto Tire, as reported by the Police Press Office. A saloon car with the registration number FB 950, driven by Burak Sefa ÜRÜM (E-32), was traveling in the direction of Vadili when it accidentally veered to the right of the road. The car collided head-on with another vehicle, bearing the registration number HT 944, driven by İsmail KAYA (E-45), who was approaching from the opposite direction.
Tragically, Burak Sefa ÜRÜM, the driver of the vehicle with the license plate FB 950, sustained serious injuries in the crash. Despite all efforts by medical staff at the Famagusta State Hospital, where he was rushed for treatment, he could not be saved and lost his life.
The driver of the vehicle with the registration number HT 944, İsmail KAYA, along with the passengers in his car, Ayşe Bayır KAYA (K 44) and Mustafa Efe KAYA (Ç-9), are currently undergoing treatment at the Famagusta State Hospital.
