Orbán boasts of battling international left for 14 years
Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has declared that his country has been successfully fighting against the international left for 14 years. He made this statement while addressing as a guest speaker at the annual rally held by Matteo Salvini’s League party in Pontida, northern Italy on Sunday.
Orbán emphasized the importance of proving that the left can be defeated, stating that Hungary has already defeated them five times. He highlighted the success of patriots in governing and mentioned achievements such as full employment, tax cuts, wage increases, support for entrepreneurs, and protection for families in Hungary.
The prime minister also stressed the significance of family values, stating that marriage should not be undermined and those who love their family should not be ridiculed. He reaffirmed Hungary’s commitment to traditional family structures, stating that the Hungarian constitution recognizes marriage as between a man and a woman, and defines a father as a man and a mother as a woman.
Orbán made it clear that these values are non-negotiable, even if the international left opposes them. He emphasized that there is no future without strong families and that Hungary will continue to uphold these principles despite any opposition.
