OSYM to Hold Two Exams Tomorrow
Over 670,000 candidates have applied to the MSU Military Student Candidate Exam, which will take place in 81 provinces, according to a statement from OSYM. The exam will be held in 658 buildings across 30,489 halls.
Additionally, 13,998 candidates have applied to the Ministry of Interior District Governor Candidate Entrance Exam, which will be held in 7 provinces and 9 exam centers utilizing 41 buildings and 636 halls.
Both exams will begin at 10:15, and candidates will not be allowed entry after 10:00. The MSU exam will consist of tests in Turkish, Social Sciences, Basic Mathematics, and Science, totaling 120 questions, while the District Governor Exam will include a general talent test with 42 questions and a general culture test with 78 questions. Candidates will have 165 minutes to complete the exams.
A total of 91,153 individuals will be participating in the exams, with 8,522 security personnel present to ensure exam security.
Candidates who have lost their identity cards or do not have necessary identification will have until 10:00 on exam day to rectify the situation.
The results of the 2025-MSU exam will be announced on March 18, while the results of the Ministry of Interior District Governor Candidate Entrance Exam will be released on March 21.
OSYM President Prof. Dr. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy noted that this year, the number of exam centers has increased to 133 from 108 last year. The majority of applications for the MSU exam came from Istanbul, with 103,234 candidates.
Candidates who are veterans, spouses, children of martyrs, and veterans were exempt from exam fees, benefiting 580,000 individuals. Additionally, special arrangements were made for the 56 disabled candidates applying for the District Governor Exam.
Ersoy urged candidates to plan their transportation accordingly and not to be discouraged by the cold and rainy weather affecting the country.
