President Ersin Tatar attended the reception of the 8th anniversary of the Rebirth Party (YDP) and expressed his satisfaction in being present at the celebrations. He highlighted the unity and love among the Turkish Cypriot community, stating that they are all children of the same race and nation.
During his speech, President Tatar emphasized the strong bond between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Turkey, stating that their struggle as the children of the Turkish Nation continues. He mentioned his efforts to promote the TRNC during his term in office, including raising awareness about the Cyprus Issue in various provinces of Turkey.
President Tatar mentioned the positive change in perception about Cyprus in recent years and his commitment to improving relations with Turkey. He declared that the era of the federation is over and emphasized the importance of the two-state solution for Cyprus.
The President highlighted the support of the Republic of Turkey for the two-state solution policy and referenced President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s call for recognition of the TRNC, removal of embargoes, and registration of acquired rights at the UN General Assembly meeting.
In conclusion, President Tatar congratulated YDP on its 8th anniversary and commended the party’s Chairman Erhan Arıklı, MP Talip Atalay, and all its members for their dedication and hard work.
