Overheard Speech by PKK Members on Provocation.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu recently participated in a broadcast on TRT Haber where he addressed various issues on the country’s agenda. Firstly, Minister Soylu discussed the upcoming elections and stated that the field is in perfect shape and the relative advantage in the election is with their side. He also mentioned the country’s fight against drug operations, where they perform an average of 260 thousand operations per year and have used various methods such as undercover investigators. The pressure in the field has resulted in a 9.5 percent reduction in drug use.
In addition to this, Minister Soylu talked about Turkey’s counterterrorism efforts and how the country has deciphered the game set in terror. The number of terrorists in the country has decreased by 96 percent in the last 6 years. Minister Soylu also spoke about Kandil being put in the election and how it serves to consolidate the HDP. He also commented on the election messages of FETO fugitives and how they are trying to bring those who made 15 July to the head of the state.
Minister Soylu also addressed the tension of the rally in Erzurum and how they are taking all precautions to prevent civil disobedience. Furthermore, he talked about the unsuccessful mayor of Istanbul who made the provocation in Erzurum and how there are speeches by 2 PKK members about the provocation.
