Öztürkler Joins Anchovy Festival – BRTK
President of the Assembly of the Republic, Ziya Öztürkler, recently attended the 16th Anchovy Festival organized by the Black Sea Cultural Association in Kyrenia. The event was a celebration of Black Sea culture and traditions, with Öztürkler delivering a speech emphasizing unity and solidarity.
During his speech, Öztürkler expressed solidarity with the recent tragedy in Bolu, where a hotel disaster took place, causing pain for the people of Turkey. He highlighted the importance of Black Sea culture and how it has been a source of unity and solidarity through music and traditional dances for many years.
Öztürkler also paid tribute to the veterans who fought in the 1974 Peace Operation, acknowledging their contributions to the unity and solidarity of the region. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue promoting unity and solidarity in the community, extending congratulations for the Miraj Kandil to all people and the Islamic world.
