Pakistani Prime Minister’s Support Bolsters Turkish Cypriot Cause
President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has expressed his gratitude to Pakistan Prime Minister Şahbaz Şerif for his recent show of support during a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In a message of thanks, President Tatar acknowledged Prime Minister Şerif’s unwavering support for the TRNC’s rightful case. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s statements during a joint press conference with President Erdoğan, in which Şerif reiterated Pakistan’s full support for the Northern Cyprus case and pledged to stand by Turkey without hesitation.
President Tatar also extended his appreciation to President Erdoğan for consistently supporting the Turkish Cypriot people and advocating for the TRNC on various platforms. He expressed his belief that with the solidarity of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the support of friendly and sister countries like Pakistan, the TRNC will soon secure the recognition it deserves.
The gesture of solidarity from Pakistan Prime Minister Şahbaz Şerif has been met with gratitude and optimism by President Tatar, who sees it as a step towards achieving the rightful status of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
