Parliamentary Committee Meets to Investigate Higher Education Institutions and YÖDAK

The “Parliamentary Investigation Committee on the Investigation of the Administrative and Financial Control System of the Activities of Higher Education Institutions in Our Country and YÖDAK” met today at 10:00 under the leadership of Committee Chairman, UBP Deputy Hasan Küçük.

The meeting, which was held in the Republican Assembly, was convened to discuss the agenda items of “Listening to the Guests” and “Evaluation of the Committee Report”. The Committee first heard from officials from the General Directorate of Police, with the information shared being under confidentiality. However, the confidentiality decision was later lifted, allowing for more discussions with guests, including YÖDAK President Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocan who shared his views on the matter.

Following this, the Committee moved on to the agenda item of “Evaluation of the Committee Report” and unanimously decided to forward the report outlining the reasons for not being able to conclude its work to the General Assembly’s agenda.

The meeting, chaired by UBP Deputy Hasan Küçük, was also attended by Committee Deputy Chairman CTP Deputy Sıla Usar İncirli, CTP Deputy Şifa Çolakoğlu, and UBP Deputies Yasemi Öztürk and Ali Pilli.
