Participation in Istanbul Human Resources Forum by Public Service Commission

Public Service Commission of the Decree Law represented at Istanbul Human Resources Forum

The Public Service Commission of the Decree Law recently attended the establishment workshop of Istanbul Human Resources Forum and the Turkish World Human Resources Development Institute. The invitation was extended by the Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, and the commission was represented by its Chairman Ömer A. Köseoğlu and Secretary General Soley Akçaba.

The 2nd Istanbul Human Resources Forum had a theme of “Society 5.0” and saw participation from permanent members Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Observer member status was given to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkmenistan. This forum also welcomed the Organization of Turkic States and observer states.

During the forum, discussions were held on various topics including the establishment of the Turkic World Human Resources Development Institute. The aim is to monitor developments in the human resources field and implement them more effectively. Joint training and development activities, as well as cooperation among members of the Organization of Turkic States in the field of human resources by 2024 were also discussed.

Commission President Ömer A. Köseoğlu provided insights and suggestions on behalf of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at the workshop. Additionally, a bilateral meeting was held between President of the Public Service Commission S. Ömer A. Köseoğlu and Head of the Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Assoc. Dr. Salim Altay, during which agenda items were exchanged.

The participation of the Public Service Commission at the Istanbul Human Resources Forum reflects its commitment to engaging in discussions and collaborations aimed at furthering human resources development and cooperation within the Turkic world.
