
Passengers Escape as Oxygen Tank is Opened

A person carrying an oxygen tank on a public bus in Bingöl caused panic among passengers when the tank accidentally opened during the journey. The incident took place during the daytime in Bingöl, as a passenger boarded a private public bus with an oxygen tank in hand. As the bus started moving, the cover of the oxygen tank slid between the passenger’s legs and opened, releasing the gas.
The sudden noise and sight of the open oxygen tank led to confusion and fear among the passengers. The driver, Mehmet Asilzade, described the chaotic scene, stating that he initially thought there might be a fire in the vehicle. However, after checking the car and finding no issues, he realized the source of the noise was the oxygen tank. Despite the panic and commotion inside the bus, the driver managed to keep his cool and safely stop the vehicle.
In a state of panic, the driver and passengers quickly evacuated the bus after it came to a halt. People shouted for the driver to open the door, fearing that there was a bomb in the vehicle. Fortunately, everyone managed to exit the bus unharmed, with the driver ensuring the safety of all passengers before leaving the vehicle himself.
