Personnel Deployment in TCDD: Entry and Appointment Requirements
The TCDD Authority has made changes to its regulations regarding the entrance exams for positions such as Surveyan, Line Maintenance and Repair, and Train Officer. The new regulations state that applicants must not exceed the age of 30 as of the application date.
Furthermore, successful candidates in the entrance exam will need to provide a health committee report confirming their fitness for the critical duties associated with these positions. They will also need to undergo a psychotechnical assessment to demonstrate their competence and must obtain a report from Ministry of Health authorized laboratories confirming negative results for drug and stimulant substances.
Candidates who are deemed inadequate based on the psychotechnical evaluation will have the option to appeal to the institution’s General Directorate Human Resources Department. If the appeal is accepted, they will have the opportunity to undergo a second psychotechnical evaluation within 30 days. The decision of the second evaluation will be final and cannot be contested.
These new regulations aim to ensure that individuals applying for these important positions within the TCDD Authority are fit to perform their duties responsibly and safely.
