New Summer Working Hours for Pharmacies Announced in Cyprus
The Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association has released new summer working hours for pharmacies, which will be effective from today until September 17th. According to the updated regulations, pharmacies in Nicosia, Famagusta, Girne-Lapta-Alsancak-Karşıyaka, and Güzelyurt regions will be open on weekdays from 08.00-17.30, with closure at 13.30 on Thursdays. They will also be open between 08.00-13.30 on Saturdays, with no on-call service available. Pharmacies on duty will be open between 08.00 and 00.00 hours but will not provide on-call service.
The Mesarya region pharmacies will be open on weekdays from 08.00-19.00 and between 08.00-13.30 on Saturdays. The duty pharmacies will operate from 13.30-19.00 on Saturdays and 08.00-19.00 on Sundays, holidays, and public holidays.
Pharmacies in Karpaz will serve from 08.00-20.00 on weekdays and 08.00-16.00 on Saturdays. Only the duty pharmacies will remain open between 08.00-18.00 on Sundays, holidays, and public holidays.
Pharmacies in the Lefke region will operate from 08.00-17.30 on weekdays and 08.00-13.30 on Thursdays, with the duty pharmacies operating from 08.00-22.00. Sunday on-call service will not be available.
Pharmacies outside the guard zone will be open between 08.00-19.00 on weekdays and 08.00-16.00 on Saturdays, with closure on Sundays, public holidays, and public holidays.
Pharmacies are an essential service, and the updated hours will ensure uninterrupted access to medication during the summer months. It is advised to check the working hours of your local pharmacy before visiting to avoid any inconvenience.
