The Nature Conservation and National Parks Tunceli Branch Directorate is taking swift action to protect wild animals from poaching. Recently, the teams received a report of poaching activities in the countryside of Pülümür district, prompting them to launch an investigation.
After inspecting the area at regular intervals, the teams caught two individuals red-handed while they were poaching in the region. As a result of their diligent work, a fine of 308 thousand 758 liras was imposed on the poachers for the crime of “opposing land hunting.” Additionally, the rifle used in the hunt, along with the dead wild goat and pig, were confiscated by the teams.
