Police Arrest 134 Wanted Individuals in Istanbul
Public Order Enforcement Operation Leads to Arrest of 134 Suspects in Istanbul
In a recent public order enforcement operation carried out by the Istanbul Police Department Preventive Services Branch Directorate officers, a total of 134 individuals were arrested in various districts of the city. The operation, named after “Martyr Deputy Commissioner Tarkan Biber,” aimed to prevent general public order crimes and capture suspects involved in criminal activities.
The enforcement operation took place in Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü, Avcılar, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kağıthane, and Beyoğlu districts of Istanbul. During the inspections, authorities were able to apprehend individuals wanted for a range of crimes, including carrying unlicensed weapons, motorcycle theft, forgery of official documents, and drug trafficking. Additionally, 134 individuals with final prison sentences were also arrested during the operation.
Judicial action has been taken against all suspects, who will now face the consequences of their alleged criminal activities. The Istanbul Police Department remains committed to maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of all residents in the city.
