Police chase ends in fugitive falling from roof

A prison escapee was injured after falling from a roof while running away from the police in the Bismil district of Diyarbakır.

Authorities in Diyarbakır have reported that a prison escapee was injured while attempting to flee from the police in the Bismil district. The incident occurred when the escapee, who had recently broken out of prison, was spotted by law enforcement officers.

According to witnesses, the escapee attempted to evade capture by climbing onto the roof of a building. However, in the process of trying to escape, the individual lost their balance and fell from the roof, sustaining injuries in the process.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and the injured escapee was taken to the hospital for treatment. The police have since apprehended the individual and have returned them to prison.
