Police Chief Yıldız: 17 Tons of Smuggled Alcohol Seized in 20 Days in Istanbul
The Provincial Police Department recently conducted an operation to seize illicit drinks in Istanbul. The confiscated drinks were exhibited at the Vatan campus of the department, under the coordination of the Anti-Smuggling Crimes Branch Directorate. Various relevant branch directorates and the Fatih District Police Department were also involved in the operation.

In recent operations against illicit alcohol production, approximately 17 tons of smuggled alcohol were seized in the last 20 days. These operations led to the processing of 17 individuals involved in illegal alcohol production.
