Police save child trapped in fire
A fire broke out in a 6-storey building on Istiklal Street in Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district, originating from a buffet on the ground floor. The incident caused intense smoke to fill the buffet as onlookers and guards attempted to control the blaze using fire extinguishers. Subsequently, firefighters, police, and medical teams rushed to the scene in response to emergency calls.
Fortunately, amidst the chaos, a child trapped in the building was successfully rescued by the emergency response teams. It was reported that the child was in good health following the incident. The firefighters worked swiftly to extinguish the fire, preventing further damage to the buffet.
