Police Shuts Down Sakarya Prostitution Ring
After Prostitution Operation, 8 Casinos and 1 Restaurant Sealed in Sakarya
A major prostitution operation in the Karasu district of Sakarya led to the arrest of 61 foreign women, including 49 Uzbeks, 8 Azerbaijanis, and 4 Turkmen nationals. The operation, which took place on the night of Saturday, November 25th, was carried out with the participation of 300 police officers.
In response to the operation, the Karasu District Governorate took action by instructing municipality teams to seal off and ban 8 casinos and 1 restaurant in the area where the operation was conducted. These businesses have been prohibited from operating for a period of 30 days.
