Poll: Majority of Americans Oppose Trump’s Stance on Foreign Trade

A recent survey conducted by the Norc Public Relations Research Center in the United States has shed light on public opinion regarding President Trump’s policies. The survey, which took place from March 20-24 and included 1229 adult participants, focused on various issues such as irregular immigration, the economy, trade, the Russia-Ukraine War, and the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Results from the survey showed that 49 percent of participants believed Trump supports irregular immigration policies, while 50 percent did not support his stance. When it came to Trump’s position on the Israel-Palestine issue, 54 percent of participants did not approve, while 44 percent approved of his approach.

In terms of trade, 60 percent of participants did not approve of Trump’s tariff decisions and his handling of trade talks with other countries, with only 38 percent expressing approval. Additionally, when it came to the Russian-Ukraine War, 56 percent of participants felt that Trump did not support the right stance, while 41 percent believed he did.

Despite the mixed opinions on his policies, the survey revealed that 56 percent of participants generally approved of Trump’s presidential administration, while 42 percent did not express approval.

Overall, the survey highlights the diverse opinions among the American public regarding President Trump’s policies on key issues, suggesting a divided sentiment towards his leadership.
