Mysterious Object Falls from the Sky into Bedroom in New Jersey
A family living in Hopewell town in New Jersey, USA recently experienced a strange incident when a mysterious object fell through their roof and onto their bedroom floor. The family noticed a hole in the roof before discovering the black object, about the size of a potato, which was still hot to the touch. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident.
The police are currently investigating the object, which reportedly weighs 1 kilogram and 800 grams, to determine its exact nature. However, they believe it may be a meteor and could be linked to the current meteor shower known as Eta Aquariids.
According to senior astronomer Derrick Pitts of the Franklin Institute, the object is a rare find that has only happened a few times in history. Pitts estimates that the object may have a history of “4-5 billion years, existing since the beginning of the solar system.”
