DMRV Ltd Calls for Water Consumption Reduction in Suburban Budapest
Residential drinking water supply organiser DMRV Ltd has made an announcement today urging residents in several localities to reduce their drinking water consumption due to the heat alarm and increased demand. The company has identified a list of villages in the western suburban region of Budapest, including Budakalász, Csobánka, Leányfalu, Nagykovácsi, Pilisborosjenő, Pilisszántó, Pilisszentiván, Pilisszentkereszt, Pilisszentlászló, Pilisvörösvár, Pomáz, Solymár, Szentendre, Tahitófalu, and Üröm, that will be affected by the call for reduced usage.
DMRV Ltd emphasizes that there is currently no drinking water shortage in the area. However, the measure to cut down on consumption is necessary in order to maintain an uninterrupted drinking water supply.
Under the first-degree water restriction measure, certain activities are prohibited between 6 AM and 11 PM. This includes watering gardens and parks, cleaning pavements and roads by authorities, as well as refilling pools or operating automated irrigation systems. As of now, the measure only applies to Szentendre and Pomáz. However, it is possible that Leányfalu, Pilisvörösvár, Solymár, Csobánka, and Pilisszentiván could also be subjected to these restrictions.
DMRV Ltd seeks the cooperation of residents in these localities to help conserve water during this period of increased consumption and heat alarm. By adhering to the water reduction measures, the company aims to ensure an uninterrupted drinking water supply for all residents in the affected areas.
