Pre-Introductory Event Held for Film ‘Ayşe Went on Vacation’ at BRTK
The Navy Media’s first film plateau in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus kicked off with a pre-introductory event for the film “Ayşe went on vacation.” The event took place in Cengizköy and was attended by notable figures such as President Ersin Tatar, Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia Ali Murat Başçeri, Public Works and Transportation Minister Erhan Arıklı, Azerbaijan Cyprus Friendship Society President Orhan Hasanoğlu, and Navy Blue Media partners.
President Ersin Tatar highlighted the important role of the film in depicting the struggles of the Turkish Cypriot people to the younger generation and the world. He also praised the development of Turkish cinema and series on an international level in recent years.
Nadir Gür, one of the Navy Blue Media partners, described the upcoming film as a portrayal of the Turkish Cypriot people’s fight for freedom and independence, emphasizing its significance in preserving history and passing on the legacy of heroism to future generations.
Orhan Hasanoğlu, President of the Azerbaijan Cyprus Friendship Society, expressed optimism about the film’s ability to preserve Cyprus’s past and thanked everyone involved in the project.
Minister Erhan Arıklı commended the progress of Turkish cinema and expressed hope that the film would effectively communicate the message of Cyprus to the world.
Turkish Ambassador Ali Murat Başçeri underscored the importance of the film in highlighting the struggle for the Turkish Cypriot people’s existence and wished success to Navy Blue Media and their team.
The event concluded with a music concert featuring performers from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, adding a cultural touch to the celebration.
