Presidency refutes rumors of teacher suspensions in high schools
The fight against disinformation continues as false allegations about teachers being suspended in rooted high schools have been debunked. Contrary to what was shared by some press organs and social media platforms, there have been no cases of teachers being exposed and dismissed.
According to a statement released, assignments for project schools are planned for a minimum of four to eight years, with reconsideration taking place at the end of this period. It was emphasized that the recent claims of teacher suspensions and dismissals are baseless.
As of April 8, 2025, all teachers and administrators whose contracts had expired were given the opportunity to choose from 10 schools for placement. The results of the placements have been announced and there have been no reported grievances regarding teachers’ personal rights and career steps.
