President and First Lady of Azerbaijan Attend Aghdam Mugham Center Groundbreaking Ceremony.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the Aghdam Mugham Center. The special representative of the president, Emin Huseynov, briefed the president and the first lady on the project, which is being built in the recently liberated city of Aghdam. This new cultural center will be constructed on two floors. The first floor will contain a café, cinema, library, 637-seat concert hall, and two dancing halls. On the second floor, there will be administrative rooms, 15 classrooms, an exhibition hall, convention hall, rooms for teachers and managers, and a large open-air amphitheater.

After being briefed on the Mugham Center’s project, President Ilham Aliyev along with First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva laid the foundation stone for the building. This cultural center is an important symbol of Azerbaijan’s commitment to preserving and promoting its music and heritage. The Mugham Center will provide an opportunity for both locals and visitors to appreciate and learn more about Azerbaijani music, culture, and traditions.

This event is part of the Azerbaijan government’s ongoing efforts to rebuild and restore infrastructure in the newly liberated territories that were previously under Armenian occupation. The Aghdam Mugham Center marks another significant step in Azerbaijan’s cultural restoration process, which aims to preserve and promote Azerbaijani culture for future generations.
