President Erdoğan: Actions Speak Louder Than Words for the Environment
President Erdoğan delivered a significant speech at the “Opening Ceremony of Gölcük State Hospital, Cable Car and TOKI Residences and Other Completed Projects,” where he addressed various important issues.

Erdoğan highlighted the government’s commitment to fulfilling the requirements for earthquake readiness and expressed gratitude to the residents of Kocaeli for their continued support.
One key initiative mentioned by President Erdoğan is the development of Kocaeli through a series of investments. He announced the opening of a 3-nation garden and emphasized ongoing efforts to clean up the Gulf of Izmit. Erdoğan reassured the public that the government is actively working to restore the clarity of the waters, drawing a parallel to the successful cleaning of the Golden Horn.
Erdoğan also criticized those who remain silent on environmental issues, contrasting their reactions to minor incidents with their neglect of more significant problems like the environmental plunder in the Bosphorus. He called for a sense of responsibility and urged individuals to speak out against environmental atrocities.
